In spring 2013, this Brazilian wooden deck has been finished 3 years ago with the wrong material which made the deck sticky. We stripped the wood really well and re-stained the deck with the right material, and restore the beauty of the wood.
The stamped concrete cleaned and re-sealed with non-slippery sealer.
One of our customer was trying to decide the finish for their basement floor, whether to install laminated floors, hardwood or finish the existing concrete floor.
After consulting with us, we recommended keeping the floor as is. This would minimize future maintenance costs that they would incur should they decide to go with other options.
So we grind and polish the existing concrete floor, and the customer loves the result because it is easy to maintain and cost effective in the future.
Following are some photos of the process.
